THE SKIFF SHOP TEAM

FOUNDER-

Tom Gordon has spent his life building and restoring skiffs, earning a reputation as one of the most respected names in the industry.

Beginning at Boston Whaler/Edgewater, his passion for skiffs took shape when he ran production and sales at Hell’s Bay Boatworks from 1999-2004 before founding Gordon Boatworks. His original Gordon Skiffs are considered some of the finest ever built, and that same standard of craftsmanship carries into every restoration that leaves The Skiff Shop.

Tom believes a boat isn't finished until it's better than new — not just repaired, but rebuilt with the better care and precision than the day it was born. That philosophy is the foundation this entire team is built on.

PARTNER-

After college, Graham’s desire to be on the water led him to guiding in his hometown of Charleston, South Carolina—poling the marshes throughout his 20s.

During those years, he traveled and filmed in the early days of digital film in the fly-fishing world. His adventures took him to the Bahamas, where he formed deep friendships with Clint (Blackfly Lodge), Oliver (Abaco Lodge), and Flip (no introduction needed). The four of them came together to found Frigate Reserve Rum, spending years building the company until it was later acquired.

Sitting alongside Tom at the pinnacle of the skiff world is the culmination of a lifetime devoted to the water and the art of fishing.
