At The Skiff Shop, we make selling your skiff simple, professional, and stress-free.
A clear plan for a fair price
We start with a thorough evaluation to help determine a strong, competitive price based on real condition and current market expectations. Your assessment helps you feel confident that we’re pricing for the best chance to sell, with transparency from the start.
We handle the details—so you don’t have to
Once your boat is with us, we take care of everything:
Boat kept on-site at The Skiff Shop
Batteries kept charged
Boat cleaned before every showing
A team member dedicated to show the boat and answer questions
Demos only with your permission and with deposit confirmed
That means fewer headaches for you—no coordinating schedules, no fielding questions, and no dealing with potential buyers directly.
Motor evaluation included
We also evaluate the motor using two methods:
Computer scan (hours and diagnostic codes)
Compression check
Timing & pricing adjustments
Our goal is to keep your listing positioned for success:
Ideally, we’re targeting a sale within 30 days or less
If it hasn’t sold within 30 days, we’ll require a price reduction to stay aligned with the market
After 60 days, a $25/week storage fee begins
Our brokerage fees
Listings under $35,000 -$3,000 flat fee
Listings $35,000 and over:10% of the selling price
Simple, formal agreement (60 days)
Our agreement runs for 60 days from the signing date, and brokerage fees apply during the term as outlined in the agreement.
